The Jackpot (1950)

This review is on The Jackpot from 1950 which stars: James Stewart, Barbara Hale, James Gleason, Fred Clark, Alan Mowbray, Patricia Medina, Natalie Wood and is directed by Walter Lang.

Bill Lawrence wins a slew of prizes on a radio quiz program. His happiness is short-lived when he discovers he'll have to sell the prizes in order to pay the taxes on them.

This is an 20th Century Fox Cinema Archives release and has good video and audio quality. The film is presented in b&w, full screen and runs for about 85mins (1hr 25mins).

I would give this film a 7/10 and the DVD a 3/5. Overall this is a good DVD release and is a film I recommend.
