This review is on The Doolins of Oklahoma from 1949 which stars: Randolph Scott, George MacReady, Louise Allbritton, John Ireland, Virginia Huston and is directed by Gordon Douglas.
Justice was never so unforgiving as in this tale of a former outlaw (Scott) who tries to start a new life as a husband and a farmer, only to be outed by his former gang and hunted by a ruthless U.S. Marshall (MacReady).
This is a SONY/Turner Classic Movie (TCM) Vault Collection release and has great video and audio quality. The film in
presented in b&w, full frame and runs for about 89mins (1hr 29mins).
I would give this film a 7/10 and the DVD a 4/5. This
is part of a four-film Western collection of Randolph Scott from TCM.
Overall this is an awesome DVD release and is a film I recommend.
