Breakthrough (1950)

This review is on Breakthrough from 1950 which stars: David Brian, John Agar, Frank Lovejoy, William Campbell, Paul Picerni and is directed by Lewis Seiler.

"Breakthrough" follows a handful of GIs through the hellfire of Omaha Beach and across the Normandy peninsula. Inch by inch they claim the land. Inch by inch they consecrate it with bravery and blood.

This is a Warner Archive release and has pretty good video and audio quality. The film is presented in b&w, full screen and runs for about 91mins (1hr 31mins).

I would give this film a 7/10 and the DVD a 3/5. Overall this is a good DVD release and is a film I recommend.
