This review is on Carbine Williams from 1952 which stars: James Stewart, Jean Hagen, Wendell Corey, Carl Benton Reid and is directed by Richard Thorpe.

Oscar-winner James Stewart stars in the title role as a jailed bootlegger who invents the famed rifle and gains his freedom.

This is a Warner Archive release and has pretty good video and audio quality. There is no special features in this release. The film in presented in b&w, Full frame and runs for about 92mins (1hr and 32mins).

I would give this film a 7/10 and the DVD a 3/5.
Overall this is a good DVD release and is a film I recommend.
